My. This is has not been a good year as far as keep track of events is concerned. *lol* Technically it’s been a challenging year in a lot of ways! But like all challenges it’s all about moving forward, right?
Well, June and now July have both come and mostly gone… The highlights? Cute kids
Definitely!
Liam has been an absolute sweetheart, though stubborn. Hehe, both his parents are in their own ways, why would he be different, right? But he is trying really hard… Trying to be himself, to stand against the female domination imposed by his sisters and trying to grow up way too fast. For example today, after a good hour of protesting, fighting, crying about trying to take his shirt off (which he never has, ever!) He finally concedes to trying with help. And he did good. But then lo and behold, at bath-time, he was out of his shirt in no-time! Amazing how that works!
Gillian is our swimmer from what Oma says. And Opa today confirmed that she’s like a fish in the water now. The swimming lessons have paid off. Except now I need to go out of my comfort zone like I haven’t in a while and take her to the pool. My, how will I ever survive
And Cora? Utterly cute and willful. That’s a fiery combination! She’s working hard on her vocabulary. She will try to guess what something is and hold it to you. Then when you tell her that it’s not a dragon but a Giraffe, she’ll walk off chanting “Giraffe”. So adorable.
Pictures? Yes, someday… They are part of that never-ending list of things to do that just keeps growing and growing. But I really should dig up some, shouldn’t I?
I guess one could say all is well. Ruth’s foot still isn’t healed (from the horse-shoe incident that I didn’t write about
) and that is giving her a hard time both mentally and physically, and of course the lack of financial resources can be quite the source of contention… Just keep on moving forward
